Babymanager Privacy statement

Babymanager respects your privacy and handles and secures its clients’ personal
data with the utmost care. In doing so, we comply with the requirements of the
General Data Protection Act (GDPR).

We explain why we collect certain information, how we protect your privacy, what
rights you have and under what conditions we provide information to you or others.

 

The securing of your data

By using Babymanager, you leave certain data with us. These may be personal data. We
only retain and use the personal data that are provided directly by you or which it is clear
have been provided to us.

 

Data provided actively

Personal data can be provided both actively and passively. Actively provided data are the
data that you enter yourself on the website or send to us electronically. In addition, data are
stored automatically on our website, sometimes without you being aware of this. That kind of
situation involves data provided passively.

Babymanager collects non-personal, statistical visitor information in order to optimise the
Babymanager website. Examples include the browser used, the what a visitor clicks on, the
time of visits and the frequency of visits.

 Data retention period

We do not store your data for longer than is necessary in response to your request. After
providing the services, we have a legal obligation to retain your data and will only retain the
data necessary for this purpose. In doing so, we comply with the statutory requirements
regarding retention periods.

Babymanager is subject to the following retention periods:

  • We keep your anonymised data for the purpose of improving the quality of Babymanager
    for a maximum of 2 years.
  • We keep your chat/email data for up to 6 months.
  • We keep your account information, including photos, for up to 3 months after
    cancellation.
  • Evaluations and complaints with the aim of improving quality are kept for a maximum of 2
    years.
  • We have a tax-related retention obligation to retain your data for 7 years for our records.

 

Complaints about the processing of personal data

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you can submit this
complaint to the Data Protection Officer. The Data Protection Officer is supported by a
Privacy Team. They will process your complaint within 2 working days and inform you
accordingly.

processing of personal data with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can contact the

After completion of the service, you will receive an evaluation of the services.
We will only discuss your evaluation internally and in anonymised form for internal quality
improvement.
